Heartland Lucario Plush
Released in 2005 This is the largest and rarest official Lucario plush made. He is about 81 cm tall, almost life sized! This is a very high quality plush, although not as soft and cuddly as I hoped, he is my all time favorite plush and collection item thus far. Also, the most expensive item in my collection, where it deems its place as my most prized possession xD. I only know of one person who owns one with a hang tag, so I know they exist and hope to find one myself! I was able to get this plush from Renafan2004 on PKMNCollectors. |

Pokemon Center Movie Promo Lucario Plush
Released in 2005 This is a very rare Lucario plush that was sold in limited quantity during the release of the "Lucario and the Mystery of Mew" movie, I believe. Therefore, it is a movie promotional item. There are 2 versions of this plush, the Japanese version I have and an American version previously sold in the Pokemon Centers in New York. This is one of the hardest plush to find, especially one MWT, and even harder to get a Japanese version. I am very lucky to have found this one! <3 |

DX Banpresto Lottery Prize Lucario Plush
Released in 2005 This is also one of my favorite Lucario plushies! He has a great design, large, and very huggable! These were given out as lottery prizes in Japan during the Pokemon Festa 2005 event. He is very rare and is in the expensive tier but well worth the price! Hopefully I can find one with a hangtag someday but since there no artwork on it, it's not that much of a priority... |

Lucario Pokedoll Cushion
Released in 2005 This is also one of my favorites! An adorable pokedoll form cushion! Its so flat, cute, and squishable! I love how they used a faux fur-like material for the fur on his body, it makes him fluffier. I currently have 2 of these, one tush tag only and one MWT. Before I was able to get one, I scoured the internet for it and couldn't find anyone with one except for two people who I couldn't contact but luckily enough, I was soon able to get one and later on, a MWT one! |
|
Pokemon Center "Hugging Pose" Lucario Plush
Released in 2005 This was an extremely hard to find plush for some odd reason. I only known two other people who own one. He is very cute, soft, huggable, and nicely sized! Still need to find a MWT one though! The tag features a cute pikachu plush, which was released in the same set. This was the last plush I needed to find to complete my official release plush collection. Therefore, I was thrilled to have found and gotten one! There are many bootlegs made to look like him online, beware if you are trying to purchase one. Not sure why they decided to bootleg this plush in particular though. |

Movie Promotion Tomy Lucario Plush
Released in 2005 This is the counterpart plush to the Vinyl Tomy Lucario Plush, which was only available in limited quantities as a theater only promotional item. This was one of the items featured in the Lucario and the Mystery of Mew promotional magazine. I like this one better because there is no vinyl and his face looks cuter and more innocent. I have not seen anybody else with a MWT one but have seen a couple of tush tag only ones. |
|
Pokemon Center Lucario Plush
Released in 2006 I don't know much information about this plush but it also has the vinyl material which I don't really like. He's really thin and lightweight and has trouble standing on its own. The hang tag is not very special, as it has no artwork and consists of a bunch of words. Still need to find one with a hang tag but not in a hurry to. Also he seems to be uncommon but fairly inexpensive. |
|
DX Banpresto Lucario UFO Plush
Released in 2008 A rather large plush made out of a shiny material in a chibi form. There is a Riolu counterpart, most likely released at the same time. Mine is missing its hang tag, so ill be looking out for one, its a tiny cardboard rectangle with the name of the plush and a ShoPro sticker on it. |
|
Kimochi Chat Lucario Plush
Released in 2006 This is a pretty rare, definitely hard to find plush, especially with tags. Only seen one MWT so far, it comes with a hangtag as well as a QR code. Other known Pokemon to be released in the series are Eevee, Treeko, and Deoxys. He is a pretty interesting and cute plush. His butt is pretty heavy, like a paperweight, while his legs are supposed to dangle off the side of a table or something. |
|
Squeaky Hammer Lucario Plush
Released in 2005 This is the most adorable and interesting plush! There is a handle sticking out from his back and a squeaker on the bottom of his butt. I like to bonk people's head with it xD. This plush is somewhat rare since it was only available at a summer festival event in Japan. Other Pokemon released in the set include Pikachu, Mew, Bonsly, and Munchlax. Most likely another promotion in correspondance with Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie. I had 3 but sold one and are keeping the tush tag only and MWT one! I might be interested in collecting the other ones in the set too... We will see~ |
|
Pokemon Christmas Lucario Plush
Released in 2005 This is an extremely rare plush, this has been the only one I've seen. Special thanks to RioluPup for selling it to me! Other Pokemon released in the same set include Pikachu, Munchlax, Mime Jr., Plusle, and Minun. All of these in the set seem pretty rare. Although very cute and all, he is so tiny! Maybe he was supposed to be a plush ornament for a Christmas tree? |
|
Pokechummy Lucario Plush
Released in 2006 I don't have much info on this plush except that its made by Takara Tomy and was sold in the Pokemon Center, I think. It is a super adorable and flat plush, extremely soft! <3 All the details are embroidered on. This seems to be a rare plush as well. I saw a few but not many with hang tag. I think I found mine on eBay and quickly snatched him up! Highly recommend, although a bit small. |
|
Pokemomo Lucario Plush
Released in 2013 A small keychain plush released in the pokemomo series 2 collection, which featured Poliwhirl, Pikachu, Gloom, Combee, and Land Shaymin as well. An interesting twist on artistic Pokemon design, targeted for more older audiences. I was able to get the two clearfiles in the promotion but still looking for the socks. The tag is super big! Larger than the plush itself with pretty artwork and a few layers describing the artist and his artwork maybe? I like how Lucario is depicted holding a single rose, very cute and one of the few plushes where he is smiling! |
|
Lucario 10th Anniversary Finger Puppet Plush
Released in 2006 IThis Lucario finger puppet was part of a box set commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Pokemon Movies. I only bought Lucario and the listing included this card which was most likely included in the box set as a description for each movie I guess? It is pretty cute but seems kinda flimsy. The box set picture was one I just found randomly online. |
|
Tomy Lucario Beanie
Released in 2005 A very cute laying style Lucario plush made out of a terry cloth material with beans inside. I got 2 of these, one is tush tag only and a newer MWT tag. Other known Pokemon in this set is weavile and mew, while the tag also features Bonsly, Mime Jr., and Pikachu but I haven't seen a counterpart for them yet. |
|
Fuzzy Banpresto Lucario UFO Plush
Released in 2005 This is a cute chibi Lucario plush made out of a different material. He is unique because of the material used and he is pastel colored. Other Pokemon in this set include Mime Jr., Bonsly, Mudkip, and Munchlax (Finally no Pikachu! xD). Most likely related to the Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie as well. |
|
Promo Banpresto Lucario UFO Plush
Released in 2005 These 2 plushes share a similar pattern but have different poses. The one facing straight (on the left) is a promo plush for the Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie, while the one with the head tilted to the side (on the right) is a UFO catcher prize if I remembered correctly. The promo one has a yellow string on his head and the UFO catcher has a white string on his head. Both of them are missing their hang tags, so I will be searching for MWT ones or just for the tags. |
|
Lucario Mini Purse/Coin Pouch
Released in 2005 This is a interesting plush made into the form of a small purse or coin pouch. I first encountered this in a GA on PKMNCollectors and thought it was the squeaky hammer plush with the handle hidden but when it arrived, it was this. I accidentally got two because before the previously one arrived I found a listing for one and bought it. Seems pretty rare since I haven't seen other people with this. Don't think it comes with a hangtag or I just never seen one before. |
|
Banpresto Clip-On Lucario Plush
Released in 2005 This is another interesting Lucario plush. There is a clip on the top, followed by a spring-like thing, and attached to the plush. So you can hang it off something and the plush will be bouncing up and down due to the spring. Some people refer to this plush as the "ballerina pose" due to Lucario's pose. I am not sure if this plush ever came with a hang tag but I think so? |
|
"Mirage" Lucario Plush
Released in Unknown I don't know any information about this plush but I heard from another collector that they got their's in an Easter basket at some drug store (CVS Pharmacy I think?). I don't think this is a bootleg, so I coined it my "mirage" plush xD. If anybody has info on him, please let me know! Thanks~ |
|
Lucario Friends Plush
Released in 2005 A pretty small plush in the friends plush set with other Pokemon, made by Bandai. I think these were packaged in small boxes (most likely with candy), therefore it doesn't have a hang tag. This Lucario plush looks different than most other Lucario plushes but that might be due to the style of friend plushes? |
|
Mini Lucario Pokedoll Keychain
Released in 2012 This is part of the second series of mini pokedoll keychains. It came in a packaging that mimics that of the blue star pokedoll tag but I wanted to take the plush out which ruined the packaging. I hate those kind of packagings... I might buy another one and keep it sealed as compensation. |
|
Lucario Pokedolls (Japanese Version)
Released in 2005 and 2009 Pokedolls are so cute! The 2005 version (on the left) has the signature pikachu pokedoll tag and the 2009 version (on the right) has a blue star pokedoll tag. The older one is made out of velboa and is slightly bigger, while the newer one is made out of minky, so soft! I think there were only two different releases of Japanese version poke dolls, unlike Riolu pokedolls. I also have an extra 2009 one that I place on my desk and as a "travel buddy". |
|
Lucario Pokedolls (American Version)
Released in 2005, 2007, 2009, and 2010 Compared to the Japanese version Lucario Pokedolls, the American versions are all made out of Velboa material and are lighter in color. All the older releases prior to the 2010 one feature the signature red pokedoll tag but I like the newer tag more because it features his artwork on it! I finally am able to accumulate all the different releases of American Lucario Pokedolls! (As well as the JAP versions shown above) My first Lucario pokedoll was the 2009 Blue Star tag Japanese version and it was minky, I am not too fond of the velboa material ones because they are not as soft. Not sure why the American version has 4 different releases when the JAP one only has 2.... How odd? The older releases are pretty hard to find, you just have to get lucky I guess? |
Lucario Pokeball Pillow
Released in 2006 This is one of the pokeball pillows featuring different Pokemon that were sold only at the Pokemon Center in New York. These are pretty uncommon but I'm not sure how rare it is. Very nice embroidered design on a regular sized circular pillow. It originally came with the signature Pokemon Center New York hangtag but mine only came with tush tag. I wonder how many different Pokemon were made into these pokeball pillows? |
